Castle Tyren

Some say Castle Tyren is empty, and some disagree. The castle is surrounded by a deep mote and rumors has it that crocodiles lived in it's muddy water. The castle is usually dark, but sometimes, a glint of light would shine from the windows at odd hours of the day. So who can say?

Fey watched the old abandoned castle from the edge of her forest. She sighed and pushed a strand of her dark brown hair behind her ear.

Alina walked through the forest in her wolf form scanning the area for any intruders.When her nose caught the scent of someone nearby she growled and followed the scent until she spotted someone standing at the edge her castle boundaries.She growled and flattened her ears.

Fey could already tell the shifter was coming because the trees had told her. She looked over to the shifter with a sad face that seemed to make even the forest a little darker. "Hello little shifter why do you growl at me? You are part of the forest don't you respect your forest spirits?". Fey watched the shifter tilted her head a little the sad look still plastered on her face.

Alina's growl died as she took in the beings form of a nymph.Shifting to the young warrior princess she was she approached the creature her face apologetic but her golden yellow eyes were hard."My apologies great spirit.I am Princess Alina.There is my castle and you are standing on private ground.Is there a reason you are here?"

Men jumped was that girl talking to him? Impossible he thought. He walked. Loser and listened silently.

Fey gave the girl a sad smile her eyes still sad and dull. "I only came to admire your castle little Princess and even if I am on your land this is my forest. I am the great Hamadryad spirit of he great oak, Fey". Fey looked into the other Nymphs were watching her.

Alina's face fell but she smiled slightly."It is strange how only I can see spirits like you.But no matter.Please,won't you come with me a moment to the castle courtyard?I wish to present you with a gift I have been meaning to give the spirits for some time."

Fey could tell there was a male shifter nearby, but decided it best to leave the elf unknowing. At the princesses request she nodded and smiled her eyes flashing bright green for a moment "I would like that very much Princess Alina". Fey turned to the girl and held out her arm in respect to the girl "It is odd that you can see me. Hm I will have to look into that".

Alina smiled brightly."Indeed it is."She turned towards the castle."Follow me."She began to walk away bringing her fingers to her lips.A high pitched whistled sounded and Alina paused a moment waiting for the call of her ride that always answered her.

Fey looked at the girl with only a little intrest as she wondered why she could see her. Most of the time she was passed by by everyone, but the anamals and the other Nymphs. Ask the high pitched whistle she lifted a brow and waited for something to happen.

Alina waited silently until she heard the high pitched neigh and the drumming of hoof beats.The black stallion ran to alina tossing it's head and rearing before touching ground and allowing her to stroke his nose and pat it's neck before she mounted bareback and looked for the nymph standing where she had left her."Come."she said holding out a hand and gazing at her friend patiently.

Fey look slightly more interested when the horse showed itself. She went over to him and vlew ibto his nose saying hello and letting the horse get to know her. After she took the princesses hand pylling herself into the horse.

Alina situated herself so that there was room for the nymph before nudging the animal forward into a trot towards the castle gates."I don't think any of my people can see you so I must act as though you are not with me.Do you understand?"Alina's tone was suddenly serious.

Fey smiled a little and laughed softly "Don't worry little princess I understand". Fey sat side saddle as they made there way toward the castle.

Kyen shifted from a wolf to a man, his intense greyblue eyes scanned the forest. Another shifter and a spirt of the oak? he was impressed. Silently, he began folowing them, his stepps silent as a wolf's.

Alina reined the horse through the gates despite the feeling inside her that someone was near and halted the horse before dismounting and running in to the courtyard to retrieve the special box she had made for the young nymph.She hurried back and exposed the box to her without notice from any servants or guards.

Fey dismonted as the girl did and stood next to the horse her hand on his back. She smiled at the girl when she came back and took the box looking at it. She opened the box and peered down at an ornate dagger. She looked back at the Princess and bowed a little "Thank you for the gift and for being so kind to us I give you my word that if anything comes to harm your kingdom I will personaly warn you and make sure the forest will fight beside you". Fey stood straight and looked around the castle rather liking the building.

Kyen watched silently, curious. he has traveled alone for ages and now he was faced by a princes no less and a spirit of the oak. He brought out Blue Ice, he thought they were friendly but sometimes looks can be deceiving. Silent as a shadow, for he has learned how to travel in the woods and forests well, he followed them, traveling in his easy distance covering lope.

Alina nodded her head taking in the knowledge.She still had a strange feeling inside her that someone was near."Thank you for the return gift."She said in a wondrous tone."My kingdom will be thankful of your help."

Blue Ice shimmered in the darkness and he stepped closer, debating if he should shift into his wolf form. The other shifter he knew has senced him near by, but he doubted she saw him, he was superbly hidden.

Fey laughed and turnd to face the shifter that had followed them her eyes showing knowing. She turned back to the Princess "It seems you have a shy quest" she whispered to Alina "Don't draw your wepon he does't seem hostile". She turned back to where she knew the shifter was "No stop slinking about little wolf and come great us properly you are being rather rude and put that weapon away". Fey stood waiting for the shifter one eyebrow raised.

Kyen smiled slowly, the spirit saw him, he wasn't surprised. He stepped out from the shadows and lowered blue Ice to his side.
"Would you rather I great you in my current form or in my wolf form?" he asked his mouth twitching slightly.

Alina spotted the man and stepped around the nymph to peer at him.Without words she shifted to a stormy coated wolf with golden yellow eyes and sat on her haunches waiting for this stranger to get the message.

"Yes, I'm a shifter too. I am the hunter of the night." swiftly, he shhifted into a jet black wolf with amber eyes. Then he paced forwards and touched noses with the girl. "I am the lone wolf and I never mean anyone of you harm. I am simply passing through." his gaze intense. "Have you heard of the hunters of the night? I am one of them, the best." he said genuinely without sounding boastful. He was simply stating a fact.
