The High Rock

The High Rock is located in the middle of a clearing. The unusually large space made for a great place for a pack meeting. This is where the dominants will make any major announcement. The High Rock is a large rock where the dominants can leap on to so they can see all wolves gathered in the aria. The rock was just wide to stand. The rock is located in such a way that the sunlight doesn't affect the view of the dominants as or any wolf when they stand atop it.

Wind stocked threw the trees and thought about doing something. But he couldn't, not if it would jeer Rez too. Seeing a raccoon, and chaced after it.

Yawning,he sat up. He then saw rez crying,and saw wind chasing a raccoon. He sighed,"now what happened?" He turned to rez,and stepped towards her.

Rez looked at Fang and didn't move. But as he came over she said, "I love you Fang."

Wind caught the raccoon and pounced on it; hard. He wondered if Fang would comfort her. Yes he had heard her crying. But he had to blow off some steam.

Rez looked away from Fang and pulled herself together. Then she got up and went to find Wind. she had heard him somewhere in the forest.

Wind heard her comming and ate swiftly before turning to her. Her face was matted from crying. She was still so beautiful, but he knew time had taken a lot out of her. She was strong, but no one could fight forever.

Rez looked at him then padded closer. She felt she should say something, but couldn't think of something right to say.

Wind smiled slightly and closed the distance. "You holding up alright?" He asked gently.

She hessitated then, "yea I guess. I don't want him to leave though." She knew both knew who he she meant.

"If he loves you, he won't. If he leaves you, then he don't deserve you." He said simply.

Sighing,he stepped away silently. What have i done? He then shook his head,and climbed the nearest tree. Staying down-wind so neither of the two could find him.

lol Fang, it should be upwind.

Rez nodded, "I'm ok I guess." then she smiled at Wind. "Still best friend?"

Wind smiled back, feeling his heart lift. She so dang beautiful. She was so close he could smell her scent with every breath. "Still best friends." he smiled again.

Rez smiled, reliefed that Wind seemed alright with her suggestion. She looked into his amber eyes and saw the warmth and love and yes, understanding too. "Thank you Wind. I know this really hurts you. But I promised Fang."

Wind looked at Rez and felt something warm flood through him. "It's nothing to thank for."

Rez hugged him then went of to find Fang. But she couldn't find him. Puzzled, she lifted her muzzle and let out a howl.

(It's down-wind. Cause if i'm up-wind you guys can smell me.)

Flicking his ears,he shook his head. It seems everywhere I go,something bad happens. Oh rez...

Still smiling, Wind padded into the trees. He knew Fang was lucky to have Rez as a mate.

Rez continued to look for Fang finally seeing him up a trees. "Fang!" she barked, laughing a bit, "What are you doing up that tree?"

Wind watched Rez look for Fang a moment then vanished into the trees. Maybe his domminants would be hungry and if he wanted to prove he was worthy of their trust, he would have to prove it.

Glancing at rez,he stammered, "i..i..i" he couldn't think of anything to say. But then he burst out. "I heard you and wind talk!" He paused,letting it sink in. He then ran down the tree. "I know he loves you. And he wishes he could be your mate. And,well i know how that feels." He then sighed,and pressed his pelt against hers. "I just don't want to feel that anymore."

Rez held him against her, feeling his warm body against her fur. "Shhhhh." she whispered, "It's alright Fang, Wind understands." she pressed herself against him, "I'm not going to leave you."

Wind is chasing a rabbit and caught it. He decided to catch several so his dominants and he could have a good meal.

Rez began licking Fang, trying to comfort him. Then she stood and went into the trees. Wind had gone hunting and she felt like hunting too. She sneaked up behind him so silently, that he didn't turn. Then she pounced on his tail.

Wind jumpedas something landed on his tail. Spinning around, he saw that it was only Rez. "Crike, it's lucky I didn't snap into fighting mode. What are you doing here? Is Fang alright?"
