The High Rock

The High Rock is located in the middle of a clearing. The unusually large space made for a great place for a pack meeting. This is where the dominants will make any major announcement. The High Rock is a large rock where the dominants can leap on to so they can see all wolves gathered in the aria. The rock was just wide to stand. The rock is located in such a way that the sunlight doesn't affect the view of the dominants as or any wolf when they stand atop it.

She ran into the area and stopepd as she saw the huge rock in the middle of the clearing.

Razzu halted too and gazed upon the mountain of rock.He brought his muzzle to the ground and sniffed for any sign of other animals."No ones here."He said to no one specifically,then walked out and circled the rock finding a narrow walk way to it's top.He climbed this and looked down at his sis feeling proud.He flicked his tail for her to join him for a territorial howl.

"oh, what have you found? Here, wait for me bro.: she grinned and scramboled up next to him. "AWWWWWWWWWWWW this is our new home!" she howled grinning at him.

Razzu howled long before leaping from the rock and sitting on his haunches observing which way they go next.

She bounded down to join him then looked around,
"This would be a great place for a pack to gather. The clearing is huge and the sun don't glare into your eyes."

Razzu nodded."it is a good place for the pack to gather."He agreed.It's almost like home here isn't it?"He asked,memories growing in him again.

Rezsia nodded eagerly, her eyes distant.
"See, we have redwood scattered here and there, just like home and I think I saw the tops of blue sprouse in the distance when we were standing on the rock. Remember when it was winter and with all the blue sprouse around us like a ring of ice." she sighed happily in memory

Razzu bowed his head with a sigh."Of course I remember"He says softly."How could I forget those days?"

"Those sure were good times and now we will make them come back in another way. Come on Razu, let's explore more. Which way do you want to go now?" she asked cocking her hea at him.

Razzu put his nose to the ground and headed south.After a while he came to a small cave."A den." He mouthed."Heres a place for you."He said allowed."Go look at it and tell me what you think."Razzu bumped his sis in the side with his muzzle.

Razzu trotted down the path until he saw the clearing and the large rock up ahead.Pausing he looked at Aura."Go ahead and have a look around.This place is where we gather the pack."

Aura stopped beside Razzu and looked around the clearing. She smiled as the area came to life around her. She imagined Vinnick and Rezsia speeking in hushed tones under the rock as three cubs wrestled nearby. She could see Razzu not far away watching the pack from afar a silent guardian. She saw herself teaching the newest generation as and elder watched from nearby. She smiled and imagined what her life would be like and how her new pack would grow. She sighed happilyas the image disapeared leaving her with a sense of peace "I like it here" she whispered softly.

"In the gathering we will discuss events and news among the pack.As a messenger, that would be your job,to alert pack members that there is a meeting to be held here."He chuckled remembering his own place when the meeting took place.

Aura listened to Razzu one ear turned in his dirrection as she looked around the clearing wondering how long it would be until she would have the privalege of being a full member of the pack. She looked over at Razzu and smiled wondering what he was thinking about as she spoke "I can't wait till I get the privalege of doing just that". She looked out into the clearing once again "Razzu? What do you see when you look at this place?".

Razzu was kicked from his thought by Aura's question.Gazing around the clearing he looked deeply.What did he see?Rez and Vin standing atop the rock howling a greeting.The pack sat below with muzzles to the sky a joining their dominants.Where was he?Sitting at the bottom of the rock howling as well and guarding his dominants well."I see a well organized pack,one that I know would have a bright future."He confirmed minutes later.

Aura smiled as she remembered her vision "I picture one large family each generation learning from the next, protecting and loving one another. I see a home". Aura smiled and sat down and closed her eyes imagining the sounds, and smells her image plastered before her.

Razzu nodded."A home."He felt a tingle inside him that told him that this was to be the reward for all that he and his sis had gone through and he would make the best of it.

Aura smiled and took a deep breath before she opened her eyes to look at Razzu. "Hm I don't want to leave, but I would like to finish seeing the territory so I can get to training. Where shall we go next?".

Razzu knew where to go next but the last two areas were off limits. He was unsure of what to do next and sat on his haunches.

Aura smiled as she moved to sit beside Razzu "I am guessing that your silence means this is the last of the territory I am to see before my entrance as a full member of the pack?". She knew that was true so she looked around and thought about how she would find Rezsia so she could start training to become a Shadox. She sighed and laid down knowing that it would be a while before she came back sense she was with Vinnick.

Razzu sensed her impatience and chuckled.He pressed his cheek to hers."Don't be in too much of a rush now.The time will come when you are a full member of the pack and you will have your rank as messenger."

Aura laughed and leaned against Razzu a little more "Ya I know".

Razzu let her lean on him,the weight not much compared to his large build.A breeze had picked up and ruffled his fur along with hers which he inhaled deeply and the scent made his nerves tingle.He rested his muzzle over hers and swished his tail a few times.
